It’s a new year! The Barrons round out Christmas with a trip to Mac’s mom’s house, and all our HVAC systems are apparently functioning as intended for the first time ever. Task is one of the best shows we’ve seen in a long time, and we sort of look back over the year in our spiritual lives.
Mac and Kat discuss an incident involving Lucky's destructive tendencies.
Jude gets delivered to school, Kat gets a few days to herself, and Mac gets a gout flare-up. Dog Stars is disappointing, Coyote v Acme is cute, and we simply note how not admitting women are different from men is destroying the world.
We get a little break from the heat as we fruitlessly try to plan around Jude’s goings and comings. Lanterns disappoints, Cold Storage is dumb dumb, but strangely watchable, and S4 has made a believer out of Mac. In Catholic stuff, we talk about what’s wrong with modern, female-centered, prestige TV.
